So many many times....

I never thought this day would come. This journey has been more than difficult. I have not publicly written about all of the hardships that we have experienced. Along with those hardships there have been abundant blessings that have surpassed anything in my wildest dreams. We started out this process not knowing exactly how it would all work out. We had faith, but our faith has been tested over and over again. One day I am going to tell you all about it, but today is not that day, because today is the day to rejoice. We officially have TRAVEL APPROVAL, and are booking our flights to go to China. Its a beautiful thing! We are SO CLOSE now. Praise GOD!

Almost finished...

With Link and Lillys new room! I have a few more touches to add, but overall I am really happy with the way it looks. It was challenging to create a boy/girl room, and tie it all together, but finally I think I was pretty successful. I am not sure how long they will want to share, but we will just see how it goes I guess. Each child has containers of their toys under their beds, and I hope that works out okay. I also raised the closet rod so I could accommodate an extra dresser. Ignore the suitcase on the bed, I am jump starting the packing process.
Now where is that TA?

New, new, new!

We have an update! He is 43 inches tall, 33 pounds, I am little conflicted about the weight because last time it was closer to 45 pounds. I am sure one or the other was wrong. He is so so stinking cute! I can't wait to get my arms around him. They say he is so excited to meet his family!

Lack of updating.....

I know I have been a little sketchy on details. I apologize. Honestly this has been so hard for me. I want my boy home. I want our new normal to start. I want to wrap my arms around him. Its taking longer than I EVER imagined. Its hard. That's all I can say.
July 21 our article 5 will be picked up from the consulate. After that we will be on the big wait for TA. Could be 2 weeks, could be 6. I am thinking travel in late August. But I am scared to think too much. I am scared to be wrong.
I have been busy preparing and preparing for our new arrival. Still finishing the room, making final purchases on clothing, adding some toys, travel size everything, wracking my brain to think of anything I still need to get.
In the mean time, I appreciate any prayers you may have. I could write a book on all of the craziness that has went on the past 6 months.
I will leave you with a short clip of our boy. He's at the end giving a high five.
